Welcome to Guitarmatic! I’m Ed.

First of all, let me give you a big warm welcome. I started this site because like a lot of people, I’ve always wanted to be an expert guitarist – a master if you may. I used to be amazed on how guitarists show their confidence on the stage, please the crowd, and look a helluva cool when they rock n’ roll on stage. I’ve always been in a mission to find out the secrets behind their expertise, until recently, I discovered some amazing things on how to master the guitar quickly.

A Little Bit of My True Story

I’ve been an aspiring musician since 8 Years old. At the age of 13, I’ve been involved in making music as part of a school band, and as a church musician. I mainly play keyboards, but I knew inside of me, I also wanted to master the guitar. Then, I decided to pursue playing the guitar on my spare time. It’s not very long when I received harsh criticisms, and worse yet, from my relatives! It sucks, big time. They told me I was such a “pain in the ears”, “you’ll never learn guitar, get back on your keyboards”, “you just don’t have what it takes…STOP making NOISE!”.

Haven’t I told you I were young at that time? With no mentor, whatsoever? Imagine the emotional pain that I went through. I nearly quit being a musician (including playing the keyboards). Glad I pursued. I never thought that my cousin, who once assaulted me heavily with his kick-ass messages, will actually be my guitar student! (Can that be called a revenge?) Anyway…
